Please have a look at the timetable and decide which class is most convenient/suitable to you and either give me a call or send me an email to check on availability.

Our classes are really popular but places are sometimes available so please do call even if it is towards the end of term.

Who we are

My name is Emma and I'd like to introduce myself as the new franchisee in Leighton Buzzard and Cheddington.

I have two children, Holly, who is 5 and attending the Southcott Lower School, and George, who is 9 months. I am getting married to my fiance Barry, a Graphic Designer, next year.

I've been on maternity leave for the past 10 months. Previously I was a Bank Manager at HSBC. I wanted a change of career and Jo Jingles has given me that opportunity. I've worked with children previously as a coach in gymnastics, and trained to be a PE and Dance teacher.

I am looking forward to being part of Jo Jingles, working with children and seeing them develop in music, singing and movement. I agree with the Jo Jingles ethos: through singing, children can explore emotions, expressions and develop their confidence. I attend a class with my son and he enjoys his time, interacting with the other children and participating within the class.

I look forward to meeting you at class soon!

And a “Hello” from Jo

Jo is the heart and soul of our classes. He is extremely friendly and actively participates in all of our classes. At the start of each session he welcomes all children with a smile, a wave and a cuddle. Then he might sing or dance or pretend to be a train driver, a monkey or even a teapot.

Sometimes he hides and we have to look for him. Sometimes he falls asleep and he needs some help to wake up. Sometimes he is shy and we have to encourage him to join in with the fun. But he always makes time for plenty of hugs and kisses when it’s time for the children to say goodbye.

“If you’re looking for somewhere to take your child Jo Jingles could be the ideal club to join…The classes seem to install confidence in the children to perform by themselves as well as to participate in group activities. However classes are not purely music orientated, they have an educational slant too….Classes are small which keeps the environment informal and friendly, and each session is well structured, moving it along at a fairly swift pace. The enthusiasm of the teacher quickly rubs off on the children and most seem eager to join in.”
